keep up their studies in an area during semesters where they are not enrolled in a course.
review and perfect material that was already learned, and can reach ahead and prepare for the next course
can take the form of standardized test preparation, such as the SAT or AP
often students will use this opportunity to "pre-learn" a course
students can take advantage of the advanced academic knowledge of our tutors and request that we create individual enrichment programs to suit their needs.
With the Full Disclosure policy (requiring that all attempts at completing a senior level course show up on a student's official transcript) in effect at the Ministry of Education, some universities have policies that put students who repeat courses at a disadvantage. This is one reason why many students are looking to learn course material in a non-credit environment, where they can learn at their own pace without worrying about the consequences of not "getting it right the first time."
Many parents and students worry that math skills, in particular, will become rusty after a semester (and a summer!) away from practice. These sessions can help to review and perfect material that was already learned, and can reach ahead and prepare for the next course.
