All of Mostly Math's superior tutoring services for homework help, enrichment and supplementary tutoring are available all through the summer! Many of our summer students are taking summer school high school credit courses in Toronto and just need some extra support due to the fast pace of these classes. Other students continue their enrichment work year-round, taking advantage of the summer to continue their math without the pressures/burden of school work at the same time.

Another popular summertime option is our university prep study sessions. With the changing high school curriculum, less and less of the university level math is now covered in high school. Several students choose to come to Mostly Math the summer before entering university to ensure that they have a solid foundation for first year math courses required of science, engineering and business students.

Mostly Math Summer Test Prep

Summer is the perfect time to devote to prepping for the fall SATs and private school entrance tests! Mostly Math is one of the few Toronto area SAT and UTS prep centres. Our Test Prep Specialist, Tanya, has worked for a major US test prep company writing curriculum and teaching classes for students in the United States. Few Toronto tutoring centres possess this kind of test-specific knowledge and experience as few Toronto tutors have even written the SAT themselves. Not only did Tanya write and score exceptionally high on the SAT, she also passed the UTS entrance examination herself when she was a child. Tanya is also our exclusive UTS entrance test prep tutor.

Tanya is obviously very much in demand when fall hits and people realize they have to start preparing for these tests, so smart students take advantage of the summer to not only get a head start on the material, but to ensure priority treatement for a regular tutoring spot with Tanya in the fall!

Mostly Math Summer School

In the summer, material can be learned at your own pace, in your own style, without the stress of other classes to worry about. Students can choose to come once or twice a week to keep their minds sharp and their math skills fresh. Or, students can choose a more intensive program to complete an entire course over the summer.

Every summer we have students who choose to do "summer school" with us. With their own private instructor, students enjoy learning in a truly personalized, focused environment. In our home-like setting, students spend some time at desks, some time reading or watching educational videos while on our signature comfy purple couches, and some time doing work outside on the patio when the sun is shining brightly.

Conveniently located across from Bayview Village Shopping Centre with a Chapters bookstore and a public library, students have access to not only study and research material, but also several options for lunch and snack breaks.
