Students, who may be struggling academically and often socially, may be tired of hearing about what they may be doing wrong. Let's focus on what they can do that is right and productive to meet their educational goals and feel more accomplished. Our SUCCESS CENTER is the perfect solution for students with special needs or students who want to learn how to manage their learning differences or ADHD. Let us help your child build both academic and social skills today!

Here is how we can help students to meet their educational goals quickly and productively:

  1. Organizational skills: many students need to learn how to organize homework and prioritize their workload.
  2. Learn how to make effective study notes and outlines for tests and exams.
  3. Time Management skills: improve a student's ability to focus, reflect and plan.
  4. Advocating for student needs: students learn the skills to advocate for themselves with teachers in order to clarify homework and assignments.
  5. Identify learning strengths and help build on them to improve confidence and performance.
  6. Learning strategies to improve memory and retention to achieve greater success on tests and exams.

Here is how we can help students and parents to improve relationships and social skills:

  1. Individual counseling sessions with students to improve social skills in order to enhance friendships and positive social interaction in school and at home. Focus on communication and appropriate ways to be "heard" in order to form and maintain friendships and work with teachers.
  2. Individual sessions with students to talk about their learning differences and how these challenges have affected them. Identify needs and solve issues to enhance overall social/emotional well being.
  3. Parent education and counseling sessions to provide parents with the knowledge and strategies to help increase their child's quality of life both academically and socially.
  4. Parent support: learning disabilities have an impact on the couple and family system, as a result family members may greatly benefit from counseling sessions to gain insight and break negative patterns of interaction.
